Day 01: Arrive Paro & Transfer to Thimphu

Drive to Punakha: Cross Dochula Pass (3,080m) with spectacular views of the eastern Himalayas.

Punakha Dzong: Visit the historic Dzong located at the junction of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Day 04: Punakha to Paro (125 kms, 4 hrs drive)

Option 1: Hike to Tiger’s Nest
Taktsang Monastery: A hike to the famous Tiger's Nest, taking around 2 ½ hrs to reach a viewpoint and an additional 45 minutes to get closer to the monastery.
Lunch: Have lunch at a restaurant in town.
Explore Paro Bazar: Take a walk and explore the local market.

Option 2: Drive to Chelela Pass
Chelela Pass: Drive to one of the highest motorable passes in the country with views of Himalayan flowers and special pheasant species.
Drive Back to Paro: Evening return to Paro.

Day 06: Depart Paro
Early Breakfast or Packed Breakfast.
